Russia and their oil production/consumption
Oil Production: 10.44 million bbl/day (2013 est.)
Oil Consumption: 4.72 million bbl/day (2013 est.)
Russia is a major producer and consumer when it comes to energy; especially oil production and consumption. Russia is ranked at number 3 raking in a total oil production of 10, 196. Crude Oil Production, at 9, 921, places Russia at number 1 in the world. With this information alone, this tells us that Russia is a big enough country to expand on just how much oil they have in their lands. With such a high rate of oil production, Russia is most definitely one of the weathier countries, meaning that the overall living conditions are not poor either, inhancing the social development, and the overall well being of this larger country.
Questions posed
Where exactly is Russia getting its oil from?
Who is Russia, if anyone, selling their oil too if they are not consuming as much oil that they are producing?
